Our Studio
Welcome to the Royal City of Guelph's Official Highland Dance Studio which was formed in 1980.
Our studio offers classes in this beautiful form of dance, to both the competitive highland dancer and the recreational dancer.
We offer the traditional form of Highland Dancing with the historic dances that show the endurance and strength to the artistry and softness of the graceful movements of highland dancing.
Our Studio classes are restricting to a limit of 5 dancers per class. To keep our dancers safe we are following the Guidelines setout by the
RSOBHD, Scotdance Canada and Ontario. Please see our page with the RSOBHD guidelines and studio spacing photo.
Register for our in Studio Classes Fall 2025 (Join classes at anytime during the year)
Classes starting the week of September 8, 2025 - Dancers ages 4 to 16 may join at anytime.
Adult classes - 16 plus - University of Guelph students - Drop in Classes - 2 hour class - Beginner to Premier Level Dancers
In Studio classes with social distancing and offered by Scotdance Canada Covid guidelines and rules and regulations of the Ontario Government.

Primary Ages 3-6 years Beginner: Ages 7 years and up Teen & Adult Beginner Classes
University of Guelph Students Highland Dancers
Pay as you go - Monday & Wednesday nights 6:30-8:30 PM
Competitive for Summer games & SDCC 2026 - Moncton, NB - Non-competititve - Professional Prep Classes -
Non - Studio Private or Drop-In Classes available - Consent from Teacher is required. ($25.00) 2 HOUR CLASS

Primary and Beginner Highland Classes includes -Highland Ballet - Rope skipping - TippyToe class - Balance and Stretch. Strength Trainning for Highland Competitive Dancers
All Dancers start as Recreational and competitive dances and including choreography class. Dancers will be advanced with their own personal advancement.
We offer Competitve competition classes for all competitive levels - Dancers are required to attend two hour classes. Junior & Senior championship & Premiership Steps. Examination and Competitive dances - Basic Ballet - Balance Stretch - Rope skipping. Scholarship work - Special Events display choreography work.
Dancers with former Highland dance knowledge may join at anytime.
Associate and Member preparation classes available for B.A.T.D. or S.D.T.A.
